Den kan vara antingen fl\u00f6desinducerad eller v\u00e4rmeinducerad. Restsp\u00e4nningar p\u00e5verkar en detalj p\u00e5 samma s\u00e4tt som externt p\u00e5f\u00f6rda sp\u00e4nningar. Om de \u00e4r tillr\u00e4ckligt starka f\u00f6r att \u00f6vervinna detaljens strukturella integritet kommer detaljen att vrida sig vid utst\u00f6tning, eller senare spricka, n\u00e4r extern servicebelastning appliceras. Restsp\u00e4nningar \u00e4r den fr\u00e4msta orsaken till krympning och skevhet hos detaljen. De processf\u00f6rh\u00e5llanden och konstruktionselement som minskar skjuvsp\u00e4nningen under kavitetsfyllningen bidrar till att minska den fl\u00f6desinducerade restsp\u00e4nningen. Under bearbetningen orienterar sig molekylerna i fl\u00f6desriktningen, eftersom polymeren skjuvas och f\u00f6rl\u00e4ngs. Detta illustreras i figur 1. Om en detalj med h\u00f6ga kvarvarande fl\u00f6dessp\u00e4nningar (eller frusen orientering) uts\u00e4tts f\u00f6r h\u00f6g temperatur kan det h\u00e4nda att en del av sp\u00e4nningarna sl\u00e4pper. Detta leder normalt till krympning och skevhet hos detaljen. I allm\u00e4nhet \u00e4r den fl\u00f6desinducerade restsp\u00e4nningen en storleksordning mindre \u00e4n den termiskt inducerade restsp\u00e4nningen.\u00a0<a title=\"Kina m\u00f6gel leverant\u00f6r\" href=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20130131102842\/http:\/\/www.moldchina.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Kina m\u00f6gel leverant\u00f6r<\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>h\u00f6gre sm\u00e4lttemperatur<\/li>\n<li>h\u00f6gre temperatur mellan form och v\u00e4gg<\/li>\n<li>l\u00e4ngre fyllningstid (l\u00e4gre sm\u00e4lthastighet)<\/li>\n<li>minskat packningstryck<\/li>\n<li>kortare fl\u00f6desv\u00e4g.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h1>\u00a0Termiskt inducerad restsp\u00e4nning<\/h1>\n<p>V\u00e4rmeinducerad restsp\u00e4nning uppst\u00e5r av f\u00f6ljande sk\u00e4l:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Materialet krymper n\u00e4r temperaturen sjunker fr\u00e5n processinst\u00e4llningarna till de omgivande f\u00f6rh\u00e5llanden som r\u00e5der n\u00e4r processen \u00e4r klar.<\/li>\n<li>Materialelementen upplever olika termomekaniska f\u00f6rlopp (t.ex. olika kylhastigheter och packningstryck) n\u00e4r materialet stelnar fr\u00e5n formv\u00e4ggen till mitten.<\/li>\n<li>F\u00f6r\u00e4ndringar i tryck, temperatur, molekyl- och fiberorientering resulterar i varierande densitet och mekaniska egenskaper.<\/li>\n<li>Vissa formbegr\u00e4nsningar hindrar den gjutna delen fr\u00e5n att krympa i plana riktningar.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Exempel p\u00e5 fri sl\u00e4ckning<\/h2>\n<p>Materialkrympning under formsprutning kan enkelt demonstreras med ett exempel p\u00e5 fri kylning, d\u00e4r en del med enhetlig temperatur pl\u00f6tsligt kl\u00e4ms mellan kalla formv\u00e4ggar. Under de tidiga kylningsstegen, n\u00e4r de yttre ytskikten kyls och b\u00f6rjar krympa, \u00e4r huvuddelen av polymeren i den varma k\u00e4rnan fortfarande sm\u00e4lt och fri att dra ihop sig. Men n\u00e4r den inre k\u00e4rnan svalnar begr\u00e4nsas den lokala termiska kontraktionen av de redan styva yttre skikten.
