Kylkanalerna borras vanligtvis genom formh\u00e5lan och k\u00e4rnan. Formen kan dock best\u00e5 av omr\u00e5den som \u00e4r f\u00f6r l\u00e5ngt bort f\u00f6r att rymma vanliga kylkanaler. Baffel, bubblare och termiskt stift<\/h3>\n<h1>Bafflar<\/h1>\n<p>En baffel \u00e4r egentligen en kylkanal som borras vinkelr\u00e4tt mot en huvudkylledning, med ett blad som delar en kylkanal i tv\u00e5 halvcirkelformade kanaler. Kylv\u00e4tskan str\u00f6mmar in p\u00e5 ena sidan av bladet fr\u00e5n huvudkylningen, v\u00e4nder runt spetsen till andra sidan av baffeln och str\u00f6mmar sedan tillbaka till huvudkylningen.<\/p>\n<p>Denna metod ger maximala tv\u00e4rsnitt f\u00f6r kylv\u00e4tskan, men det \u00e4r sv\u00e5rt att montera delaren exakt i mitten. Kyleffekten och d\u00e4rmed temperaturf\u00f6rdelningen p\u00e5 den ena sidan av k\u00e4rnan kan skilja sig fr\u00e5n den p\u00e5 den andra sidan. Denna nackdel med en i \u00f6vrigt ekonomisk l\u00f6sning, vad g\u00e4ller tillverkningen, kan elimineras om metallpl\u00e5ten som bildar baffeln vrids. Helixbaffeln, som visas i figur 2 nedan, transporterar kylv\u00e4tskan till spetsen och tillbaka i form av en helix. Den \u00e4r anv\u00e4ndbar f\u00f6r diametrar p\u00e5 12 till 50 mm och ger en mycket homogen temperaturf\u00f6rdelning. Kylv\u00e4tskan rinner sedan ner runt r\u00f6rets utsida f\u00f6r att forts\u00e4tta fl\u00f6det genom kylkanalerna.<\/p>\n<p>Den mest effektiva kylningen av smala k\u00e4rnor uppn\u00e5s med bubblare. Diametern p\u00e5 b\u00e5da m\u00e5ste justeras p\u00e5 ett s\u00e5dant s\u00e4tt att fl\u00f6desmotst\u00e5ndet i b\u00e5da tv\u00e4rsnitten \u00e4r lika stort. V\u00e4tskan f\u00f6r\u00e5ngas n\u00e4r den drar v\u00e4rme fr\u00e5n verktygsst\u00e5let och kondenseras n\u00e4r den avger v\u00e4rmen till kylv\u00e4tskan, som visas i figur 4. V\u00e4rme\u00f6verf\u00f6ringseffektiviteten hos en termisk stift \u00e4r n\u00e4stan tio g\u00e5nger s\u00e5 stor som hos ett kopparr\u00f6r.
