Normalmente, os canais de resfriamento s\u00e3o perfurados na cavidade e no n\u00facleo do molde. O molde, no entanto, pode consistir em \u00e1reas muito distantes para acomodar canais de resfriamento regulares. M\u00e9todos alternativos para resfriar essas \u00e1reas de maneira uniforme com o restante da pe\u00e7a envolvem o uso de defletores, borbulhadores ou pinos t\u00e9rmicos, conforme mostrado abaixo.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1261\" title=\"Confus\u00f5es e bolhas\" src=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20130131111118im_\/http:\/\/www.moldchina.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/10\/Baffles-and-bubblers.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"511\" height=\"185\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>FIGURA 1. Defletor, borbulhador e pino t\u00e9rmico<\/h3>\n<h1>Defletores<\/h1>\n<p>Um defletor \u00e9, na verdade, um canal de resfriamento perfurado perpendicularmente a uma linha de resfriamento principal, com uma l\u00e2mina que separa uma passagem de resfriamento em dois canais semicirculares. O l\u00edquido de arrefecimento flui em um lado da l\u00e2mina a partir da linha de arrefecimento principal, gira em torno da ponta para o outro lado do defletor e, em seguida, flui de volta para a linha de arrefecimento principal.<\/p>\n<p>Esse m\u00e9todo fornece se\u00e7\u00f5es transversais m\u00e1ximas para o refrigerante, mas \u00e9 dif\u00edcil montar o divisor exatamente no centro. O efeito de resfriamento e, com ele, a distribui\u00e7\u00e3o de temperatura em um lado do n\u00facleo pode ser diferente da do outro lado. Essa desvantagem de uma solu\u00e7\u00e3o econ\u00f4mica, no que diz respeito \u00e0 fabrica\u00e7\u00e3o, pode ser eliminada se a folha de metal que forma o defletor for torcida. Por exemplo, o defletor em forma de h\u00e9lice, como mostrado na Figura 2 abaixo, transporta o refrigerante para a ponta e de volta na forma de uma h\u00e9lice. Ele \u00e9 \u00fatil para di\u00e2metros de 12 a 50 mm e proporciona uma distribui\u00e7\u00e3o de temperatura muito homog\u00eanea. Outro desenvolvimento l\u00f3gico dos defletores s\u00e3o os n\u00facleos espirais de voo simples ou duplo, conforme mostrado na Figura 2 abaixo.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1262\" title=\"Dispositivos de resfriamento alternativos\" src=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20130131111118im_\/http:\/\/www.moldchina.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/10\/Alternative-Cooling-Devices.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"496\" height=\"205\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>FIGURA 2. (Direita) Defletor em espiral.<\/h3>\n<h1>Borbulhadores<\/h1>\n<p>Um borbulhador \u00e9 semelhante a um defletor, exceto pelo fato de que a l\u00e2mina \u00e9 substitu\u00edda por um pequeno tubo. O l\u00edquido de arrefecimento flui para a parte inferior do tubo e \"borbulha\" na parte superior, como em uma fonte. Em seguida, o refrigerante flui para baixo em torno da parte externa do tubo para continuar seu fluxo pelos canais de resfriamento.<\/p>\n<p>O resfriamento mais eficaz de n\u00facleos finos \u00e9 obtido com borbulhadores. O di\u00e2metro de ambos deve ser ajustado de forma que a resist\u00eancia do fluxo em ambas as se\u00e7\u00f5es transversais seja igual. A condi\u00e7\u00e3o para isso \u00e9:<\/p>\n<p>Di\u00e2metro interno \/ Di\u00e2metro externo = 0,707<\/p>\n<p>Os borbulhadores est\u00e3o dispon\u00edveis comercialmente e geralmente s\u00e3o parafusados no n\u00facleo, conforme mostrado na Figura 3 abaixo. At\u00e9 um di\u00e2metro de 4 mm, o tubo deve ser chanfrado na extremidade para aumentar a se\u00e7\u00e3o transversal da sa\u00edda; essa t\u00e9cnica \u00e9 ilustrada na Figura 3. Os borbulhadores podem ser usados n\u00e3o apenas para o resfriamento do n\u00facleo, mas tamb\u00e9m para o resfriamento de se\u00e7\u00f5es planas do molde, que n\u00e3o podem ser equipadas com canais perfurados ou fresados.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1263\" title=\"Di\u00e2metro interno\" src=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20130131111118im_\/http:\/\/www.moldchina.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/10\/Inner-Diameter.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"538\" height=\"221\" \/><\/p>\n<p>FIGURA 3. (Direita) Borbulhador chanfrado para ampliar a sa\u00edda<\/p>\n<p><strong>OBSERVA\u00c7\u00c3O:<\/strong>\u00a0Como tanto os defletores quanto os borbulhadores t\u00eam \u00e1reas de fluxo reduzidas, a resist\u00eancia do fluxo aumenta. Portanto, \u00e9 preciso ter cuidado ao projetar o tamanho desses dispositivos. O comportamento do fluxo e da transfer\u00eancia de calor para defletores e borbulhadores pode ser facilmente modelado e analisado pela an\u00e1lise C-MOLD Cooling.<\/p>\n<h1>Pinos t\u00e9rmicos<\/h1>\n<p>Um pino t\u00e9rmico \u00e9 uma alternativa aos defletores e borbulhadores. \u00c9 um cilindro vedado preenchido com um fluido. O fluido vaporiza \u00e0 medida que retira o calor do a\u00e7o da ferramenta e condensa ao liberar o calor para o refrigerante, conforme mostrado na Figura 4. A efici\u00eancia de transfer\u00eancia de calor de um pino t\u00e9rmico \u00e9 quase dez vezes maior do que a de um tubo de cobre. Para obter uma boa condu\u00e7\u00e3o de calor, evite um espa\u00e7o de ar entre o pino t\u00e9rmico e o molde ou preencha-o com um selante altamente condutor.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1264\" title=\"Pinos t\u00e9rmicos\" src=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20130131111118im_\/http:\/\/www.moldchina.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/10\/Thermal-pins.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"443\" height=\"294\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>FIGURA 4. Efici\u00eancia de transfer\u00eancia de calor do pino t\u00e9rmico<\/h3>\n<h1>Resfriamento de n\u00facleos finos<\/h1>\n<p>Se o di\u00e2metro ou a largura forem muito pequenos (menos de 3 mm), somente o resfriamento a ar ser\u00e1 vi\u00e1vel. O ar \u00e9 soprado nos n\u00facleos pelo lado de fora durante a abertura do molde ou flui por um orif\u00edcio central pelo lado de dentro, conforme mostrado na Figura 5. Esse procedimento, \u00e9 claro, n\u00e3o permite manter uma temperatura exata do molde.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1265\" title=\"Resfriamento de n\u00facleos delgados\" src=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20130131111118im_\/http:\/\/www.moldchina.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/10\/Cooling-slender-cores.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"410\" height=\"224\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>FIGURA 5. Resfriamento a ar de um n\u00facleo delgado<\/h3>\n<p>Um melhor resfriamento de n\u00facleos finos (com menos de 5 mm) \u00e9 obtido com o uso de inser\u00e7\u00f5es feitas de materiais com alta condutividade t\u00e9rmica, como cobre ou materiais de cobre-ber\u00edlio. Essa t\u00e9cnica \u00e9 ilustrada na Figura 6 abaixo. Esses insertos s\u00e3o encaixados por press\u00e3o no n\u00facleo e se estendem com sua base, que tem uma se\u00e7\u00e3o transversal t\u00e3o grande quanto poss\u00edvel, em um canal de resfriamento.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1266\" title=\"Resfriamento a ar de um co\" src=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20130131111118im_\/http:\/\/www.moldchina.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/10\/Air-cooling-of-a-slender-co.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"377\" height=\"223\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>FIGURA 6. Uso de material de alta condutividade t\u00e9rmica para resfriar um n\u00facleo fino<\/h3>\n<h1>Resfriamento de n\u00facleos grandes<\/h1>\n<p>Para di\u00e2metros de n\u00facleo grandes (40 mm ou mais), \u00e9 necess\u00e1rio garantir o transporte positivo do l\u00edquido de arrefecimento. Isso pode ser feito com insertos nos quais o refrigerante chega \u00e0 ponta do n\u00facleo por meio de um furo central e \u00e9 conduzido por uma espiral at\u00e9 sua circunfer\u00eancia, e entre o n\u00facleo e o inserto helicoidalmente at\u00e9 a sa\u00edda, conforme mostrado na Figura 7. Uso de defletor helicoidal para resfriar um n\u00facleo grande<\/h3>\n<h1>Resfriamento de n\u00facleos de cilindros<\/h1>\n<p>O resfriamento de n\u00facleos de cilindros e outras pe\u00e7as redondas deve ser feito com uma h\u00e9lice dupla, conforme mostrado abaixo. O l\u00edquido de arrefecimento flui para a ponta do n\u00facleo em uma h\u00e9lice e retorna em outra h\u00e9lice.
