Surgem tens\u00f5es residuais vari\u00e1veis e a pe\u00e7a se deforma \u00e0 medida que camadas de diferentes volumes espec\u00edficos congelados interagem entre si<\/h3>\n<h2>Tens\u00e3o residual induzida pelo processo vs. na cavidade<\/h2>\n<p>Os dados de tens\u00e3o residual induzida pelo processo s\u00e3o muito mais \u00fateis do que os dados de tens\u00e3o residual na cavidade para a simula\u00e7\u00e3o de moldagem. A seguir, apresentamos as defini\u00e7\u00f5es dos dois termos, juntamente com um exemplo que ilustra a diferen\u00e7a entre eles.<\/p>\n<h3>Tens\u00e3o residual induzida pelo processo<\/h3>\n<p>Ap\u00f3s a eje\u00e7\u00e3o da pe\u00e7a, as restri\u00e7\u00f5es da cavidade do molde s\u00e3o liberadas, e a pe\u00e7a fica livre para encolher e se deformar. Depois de se estabelecer em um estado de equil\u00edbrio, a tens\u00e3o remanescente dentro da pe\u00e7a \u00e9 chamada de tens\u00e3o residual induzida pelo processo ou, simplesmente, tens\u00e3o residual. A tens\u00e3o residual induzida pelo processo pode ser induzida por fluxo ou t\u00e9rmica, sendo que a \u00faltima \u00e9 o componente dominante.<\/p>\n<h3>Tens\u00e3o residual na cavidade<\/h3>\n<p>Enquanto a pe\u00e7a ainda est\u00e1 restrita na cavidade do molde, a tens\u00e3o interna que se acumula durante a solidifica\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 chamada de tens\u00e3o residual na cavidade. Essa tens\u00e3o residual na cavidade \u00e9 a for\u00e7a que impulsiona o encolhimento e o empenamento da pe\u00e7a p\u00f3s-eje\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n<h3>Exemplo<\/h3>\n<p>A distribui\u00e7\u00e3o de contra\u00e7\u00e3o descrita em Deforma\u00e7\u00e3o devido \u00e0 contra\u00e7\u00e3o diferencial leva a um perfil de tens\u00e3o residual induzido termicamente para uma pe\u00e7a ejetada, conforme mostrado na figura inferior esquerda abaixo. O perfil de tens\u00e3o na figura superior esquerda \u00e9 a tens\u00e3o residual dentro da cavidade, na qual a pe\u00e7a moldada permanece restrita dentro do molde antes da eje\u00e7\u00e3o. Depois que a pe\u00e7a \u00e9 ejetada e a for\u00e7a de restri\u00e7\u00e3o do molde \u00e9 liberada, a pe\u00e7a encolher\u00e1 e se deformar\u00e1 para liberar a tens\u00e3o residual incorporada (geralmente tens\u00e3o de tra\u00e7\u00e3o, como mostrado) e atingir um estado de equil\u00edbrio. O estado de equil\u00edbrio significa que n\u00e3o h\u00e1 for\u00e7a externa exercida sobre a pe\u00e7a e que as tens\u00f5es de tra\u00e7\u00e3o e compress\u00e3o sobre a se\u00e7\u00e3o transversal da pe\u00e7a devem se equilibrar entre si.
