Surgen tensiones residuales variables y la pieza se deforma a medida que capas de diferente volumen espec\u00edfico congelado interact\u00faan entre s\u00ed.<\/h3>\n<h2>Tensi\u00f3n residual inducida por el proceso frente a tensi\u00f3n residual en la cavidad<\/h2>\n<p>Los datos de tensiones residuales inducidas por el proceso son mucho m\u00e1s \u00fatiles que los datos de tensiones residuales en la cavidad para la simulaci\u00f3n de moldeo. A continuaci\u00f3n se definen los dos t\u00e9rminos, junto con un ejemplo que ilustra la diferencia entre ellos.<\/p>\n<h3>Tensi\u00f3n residual inducida por el proceso<\/h3>\n<p>Tras la expulsi\u00f3n de la pieza, se liberan las restricciones de la cavidad del molde y la pieza queda libre para encogerse y deformarse. Despu\u00e9s de alcanzar un estado de equilibrio, la tensi\u00f3n restante en el interior de la pieza se denomina tensi\u00f3n residual inducida por el proceso o, simplemente, tensi\u00f3n residual. La tensi\u00f3n residual inducida por el proceso puede ser inducida por flujo o t\u00e9rmica, siendo esta \u00faltima el componente dominante.<\/p>\n<h3>Tensi\u00f3n residual en la cavidad<\/h3>\n<p>Mientras la pieza est\u00e1 todav\u00eda constre\u00f1ida en la cavidad del molde, la tensi\u00f3n interna que se acumula durante la solidificaci\u00f3n se denomina tensi\u00f3n residual en la cavidad. Esta tensi\u00f3n residual en la cavidad es la fuerza que provoca la contracci\u00f3n y el alabeo de la pieza despu\u00e9s de la inyecci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<h3>Ejemplo<\/h3>\n<p>La distribuci\u00f3n de la contracci\u00f3n descrita en Alabeo debido a la contracci\u00f3n diferencial conduce a un perfil de tensi\u00f3n residual inducida t\u00e9rmicamente para una pieza expulsada, como se muestra en la figura inferior izquierda. El perfil de tensi\u00f3n de la figura superior izquierda es la tensi\u00f3n residual dentro de la cavidad, en la que la pieza moldeada permanece constre\u00f1ida dentro del molde antes de la expulsi\u00f3n. Una vez que se expulsa la pieza y se libera la fuerza constre\u00f1ida del molde, la pieza se encoger\u00e1 y alabear\u00e1 para liberar la tensi\u00f3n residual incorporada (generalmente tensi\u00f3n de tracci\u00f3n, como se muestra) y alcanzar un estado de equilibrio. El estado de equilibrio significa que no hay ninguna fuerza externa ejerciendo sobre la pieza y que las tensiones de tracci\u00f3n y compresi\u00f3n sobre la secci\u00f3n transversal de la pieza deben equilibrarse entre s\u00ed.
